Trond Saeverud is a violinist and the conductor of the Galveston (Texas) Symphony Orchestra.  Maestro Saeverud has been soloist with major orchestras in Europe and in the USA and has conducted professional and community orchestras in Denmark, Norway, and the USA.  He regularly premieres new works for the violin and has produced CDs as soloist with orchestras in Norway and Denmark, including his CD, Ghosts, which received the Norwegian equivalent of a Grammy award in 1997.  

Gregory Biss was born in Illinois and educated chiefly in New England and Germany.  His compositions have been performed by the Denver Symphony, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the Vermeer Quartet, Miriam Fried, Trond Saeverud, Lynn Brubaker and Vinko Globokar. Several of his works may be heard on the CD: Selected Music 1969-2008 which features performers from eastern Maine.  Biss, a resident of Eastport Maine, had a 20-year career as a scuba diver in the aquaculture industry.  He has been a longtime member of the piano faculty at Summer Keys in Lubec and currently serves as Board President of the Eastport Arts Center. He and his wife Barbara have 4 children and (thus far) seven grandchildren.

June Gregory is a retired school psychologist who relocated from Florida to Maine in 2010.  She played flute and piccolo with the Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra for 12 years and served as the board president for 10 years.  June continues to play the flute in small ensembles, helps to manage a small farm with her partner, Darrel, and enjoys anything outdoors as well as handcrafts, such as rug-hooking and making stained glass pieces.
